Department and Programs
The Secretariat of the Coalition has a Department and runs three Programs
Finances and Administration Department
The finance and administration department deals with daily finance matters of the Coalition together with administration, including the membership of the Coalition.
Advocacy and Capacity Building Program
The Advocacy and Capacity Building program focuses on advocacy on Court instruments, trainings workshop on African Human Rights system as a whole, sensitization seminars, roundtable discussions, conferences, and lobbying.
Researches, Litigations and Publications Program
This Program deals with:-
The internship programme is valuable in exposing young people to the African Court and its mechanisms as well as work experience in an organization. It also augment capacity at the secretariat. The Secretariat has already admitted six interns, Ms Maria Mnzava, Ms Martha Makenge, Ms Floraine Echegut and Ms Sophia Ebby who worked to assist various tasks including administrative and research work. Ms Sophia Ebby is now employed in the Coalition Secretariat, she worked as a legal officer of the Coalition from 2011 to 2013 and is currently working as the Advocacy and Capacity Building Program Officier of the Coalition. Ms Martha Makenge, Ms Floraine Echegut, Ms Maria Mnzava a previous employee of the Coalition had a wonderful experience to work with the Coalition before leaving to pursue their further dreams and the Coalition appreciate them.
In early 2013, the Coalition admitted two interns, Ms Digna Irafay to assists in legal and administrative works and Ms Rebecca Nyange to assists in administrative and accounts works. Ms Digna Irafay is currently assisting as an Intern in the Researches, Litigation and Publication Program and Ms Rebecca Nyange is currently assisting as a Intern in Finances and Administration Department of the Coalition.
